Hello. I am new to this site and a bit new to blender. I’m trying to make a rocket and I’m happy with what I came up with.
However, I’m trying to create a shiny metal surface similar to these:

Any tips?

can you tell us which render engine are you planning to use?
Depending on the engine, different approaches are necessary.

Thanks so much for the feedback and help. I’m happy with how the metal came out in the end.
However, I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the noise, as some of the parts look a bit grainy.

Just a note, to produce the shiny streaks that run transversally you need to turn on Tangent Shading for the metal material under Material->Shading.
