Rokoko smartsuit 2 vs Perception neuron 3

I was looking for a mocap suit that fit my budget and decided to choose one of the two.

Here are the pros and cons of each product based on the information I’ve found so far :

Rokoko

pro :

Uses only one battery. Easy to charge and connect.

Sensor and suit are one piece, easy and quick to put on.

Relatively large number of users and active community.

5 fingers tracking

con :

You have to pay for a monthly subscription to the program to use additional features like importing custom characters and live streaming, facial capture.

The cable is not durable and needs to be replaced frequently.

You’ll need to purchase a compatible Wi-Fi router.

Motion seems a bit stiff.

Perception neuron 3

pro :

Easy to connect using a dedicated dongle.

The strap fits most body types.

Offers hip and hand locks, not just foot locks.

Relatively natural motion.

Free software(body), Perpetual License (Facial)

con :

Sensors need to be charged individually. (charging dock)

Strap and sensor are separate, so it takes a long time to wear.

Relatively few users and not a very active community.

Only 3 fingers can be tracked.

The problem is the same for both: they are subject to magnetic interference and drift. However, according to some users, PN3 is a bit more immune to magnetic interference. And I couldn’t find any detailed reviews of Rokoko’s Coil pro yet.

If you’ve used both or either, please let me know what you think! Thanks!
