I wanted to experiment with hand-painted techniques as well as stylized sculpting for some of the assets in this project. Modeled using Blender with Maya used for some cleanup and the UVs. Then the high-res sculpting details done in Zbrush. I then textured the assets with Substance Painter and brought them into Blender for the scene setup. I played around with volumetrics in Blender, to create the god rays. The scene was finally rendered with Cycles in Blender using Optix.
