I was experimenting with Array rotation with Empty. The Array can be rotated with Empty but I have hard time figuring out where rotational center is. It is not at the Empty. The Array object tends to spiral around with different center. How can I “fix” the center so that object simply rotates around? Here I am trying to form spiral staircase:
Uncheck ‘Relative Offset’ and make sure Empty and object have the same center.
I was trying to do the exact time thing, even with jawra help I wasn’t able to get it to work.
If you get it to work could you post the settings please?
Ya ok. It was the Relative Offset that was throwing everything off. All I needed was array count, Constant offset, and Object Offset Ob. I just located object center and Empty at the same location and it works. Thanks jawra.
