Rounded corners

Hey all,

Was just wondering if any one has any tips on beveling or rounding corners. I usually just subdevide my, say cube, and manually edit the verticies to achive this effect, which is time consuming, so i would like to know if there are any shortcuts to acheive this.

Well, for a cube I subdivide it and then hit the ‘Smooth’ button in the mesh edit window some times.

This works fine only if your mesh is regular…


Is there another way without subdevide and smoothing?

I will sometimes use a square curve circle that is extruded and beveled. It is very easy and fast.

Modeling with curves and surfaces makes it very easy.
