I’m making a music video. It’s going to have a little animation, not much though (will need help!). I was just gonna draw up some scenes in Paint Shop Pro or something and use them (the song is gonna have the lyrics on top) but I thought blender would make better results and it would be easier.

Oh yeah, listen and download the song here (and view the lyrics!)

So I’m gonna need some help. Right now I have rigging problems (not I’m not gonna worry about that until I’m done modeling), and I can’t do any hands!! Ba, and how should I do a beard for santa? Meta balls?

Well, I would make a very boxy mitten–one small, thin one for the hand and a large (almost square) one for the rest of the mitten. Then, subsurf it and add loop cuts to adjust the shape. Here’s a quick blend I did showing steps. You can use the model if you like.

I need some help rigging. I did a tutorial from tutorialforblender3d.com and it just got all messed up. Can someone give me a quick run down how to fix this dude?
