Hey all!
I’m really glad to share with you my latest 3D scene, “Running Frog”. I mostly wanted to educate myself to all production steps (rigging, simulation, shading, texturing, lighting, modeling, concept, etc…) in order to improve my skills in general 3D.
When I built the concept of this illustration, I thought about leaving room to interpretation of the out-of-field, so that anyone can imagine the story of the character.
I learned a lot about composition, color, detail and I tried my best to make a pretty and well balanced illustration ; I hope you enjoy!

Hi,
I think the coloring is great. Well done. I would love to follow a process from end to end. Do you have anything you referenced to help e.g. tutorials etc?
Thanks
Stephen
Hey Stephen,
Thank you!
Actually, I followed a classic pipeline : concept art, modelling, texturing, lighting… I have also seen a lot of tutorials to learn more about how to switch from marvelous to blender, since cloth simulation was a huge part of the process.
I am considering doing a video about the creative process and some 3d tricks which seem important to me. I’ll let you know when I do!
That sounds great and thanks for sharing.
