I was working on an animation for this, but I just had to do it as a static scene first. I modeled this ship like 3 years ago, when I was starting to learn 3d, and never showed or used it on a render
Good job!
Awesome render. And the ship model looks great! I can imagine it would have taken a while to complete.
Yeah, I had to re-do the hull so many times bc my topology wasn’t right. I made in like 2 weeks, but I was working with blender (3d in general) for like 2 months at that time… So I had the feeling that I was overestimating myself on the process, but it worked I’m proud of it even with some visible essues
I modeled a Sloop and I found that the hull was the hardest part as well.
This ship looks great though, and even if it does have some minor visible issues they aren’t noticeable.
WoW! Solid work.
nice!
suggestions:
a transparent ocean with a volume shader underneath, to have the choppy high waves to scatter light (greenish blue) specially with sun set in front of the camera
and adding a Mist pass slightly composed to it
Ty for the suggestion! I’ll try it out
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
