Saint Wang Anna Church

A bright, modern-looking church dedicated to the 14-year old Chinese Saint Wang Anna. There are three glass mosaics, lit with background lights, on the ceiling, depicting flames with the names of different Asian saints on a blue background.

Inspiration for this church were: the layout of Maria Eich in Munich; the front windows and garden of the Namyang Shrine in South Korea; the glass mosaic on the ceiling of the “St. George and the English Martyrs” side chapel in Westminster Cathedral in London; and the altar of the former monastery church in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany.

The images on the main altar and the left side altar were made by me in Blender with the MPFB 2 addon; and the illuminated mosaic on the ceiling with Inkscape.
