“Samurai”…feeling Ghost of Tsushima inspired. Wanted to capture that surreal feeling of walking among a forest of Ginko trees during the fall in Japan. Also wanted to add some text to the image to give it a movie poster feel - the kanji characters are borrowed from Akira Kurosawa’s 7 Samurai poster from 1954.
This is amazing work. I really enjoy the way the light is filtering through the trees and the depth that the haze obscuring the pagoda creates. Beautiful light!
