Scale a noise texture in one direction [cycles]

I am Trying to make a rocket engine flame. I have a cone with a color ramp from blue to clear and i added a noise texture to displace and change the color, but i want it scaled in the direction of the cone and i can’t figure out how to do it. Also any tips or a better method would be great.

thanks, i forgot to put the mapping node in front of the noise texture, that helps a lot :smiley:
