Scaled Model Down, Some Grease Pencil Line Art Didn't Scale

I was getting ready to add a skeleton/rig to my model, but that’s when I discovered that my character scale was way too big (about 15 stories tall). I selected everything and scaled him down to the right size, but only 80% of the line art scaled properly. The line art on the body and hair did not.

All objects have a thickness scale of 1.0.

What caused just two of the objects to scale improperly? How can this be corrected?

It took me two months to make this model to this level of completion. I really don’t want to start over from scratch at the correct scale. Another option is to scale the rig up to the model size, but I don’t know if that will cause problems. Might be fewer problems that way. No idea.

Apply scale results:

Looks like you’ve got the blur modifier on your line art.
As long as you haven’t done too much weighting, you should unparent the rig, fix all of your scales, apply those scales, and then parent back to the rig.

Just so I understand the process…

Should I do the following:

1 scale the entire model to human size
2. unparent the parts of the model
3. apply transforms on each part
4. re parent the model parts to the body

and this should fix my line art?

I also notice that the eyes (particularly the right eye of the model) had shifted toward the center of the model somewhat after scaling. The eyes use a mirror modifier. Should I have applied that first before scaling?

I haven’t any formal training in Blender, so I have so many holes in my knowledge that I could be making scores of mistakes that set me up for numerous problems.

This is the result of the steps above. For some reason, the line art on the hair doesn’t scale with the rest of the line art.

In a bit of an indecision state with the Fushi 3D model I started almost 3 months ago.

I was going to begin rigging, but then I realized that I could not see the rig I added because the model is about 15 stories tall due to the scale of the reference images I used.

I tried to scale him down to human size, but some of the line art didn’t scale, and there were problems with mirror modifiers not scaling either.

So I set that aside and experimented with cloth physics. That didn’t work out, so I reached a low point last week and decided to take a break from it.

I’m pondering whether to make his fur cloak, or try to rig the model first by scaling a rig up to size. I hate these periods of indecision. My belief is that if I’m doing things all wrong, I’m only building on top of a bad foundation.

So in my mind, it’s down to fur cloak or rigging. But maybe there are other options I should explore?

I’ve stepped away from this for a week or so as a ‘cooling off period’ as I’ve reached a point of frustration where everything I try to get further with this project has met with failure.
