I’m trying my hand at realistic texturing, using Blender kind of like Substance Painter with handmade texture + procedural element to it.
I’m wondering how they could be improved, to extract more realism from these?

They look more like cobblestones. Scales should be overlapping like roof tiles.
This is not true. Some scales do overlap while others don’t
