Sci-fi, steampunk ideas?

Hi guys, so I am kinda between a blender newbie and an intermediate, recently I played Deus Ex Mankind and was inspired to create something steampunk.
Problem is all the reference I get on the internet are either expert level stuff, or complete beginner.
Can you guys suggest something ? (Tutorial, reference images, addons etc)

I think the best thing to do first would be to sketch out or plan what you want your scene to look like, then break that up into parts to model. That way you can look up tutorials for modeling specific items. If you can’t find any good tutorials then I would just ask on this forum.
