Screencast keys crashes Blender

Hi

I do video tutorials and use the screencast keys. It has worked until now. It crashes blender everytime I enable them.

Please can somebody help. This really is a problem.

We need more info: OS, blender version, GFX card, driver version.
Work here with blender rev 45501 on linux 64.
