Canuck Play is looking for someone to create a custom blender script for us. We need to be able to convert a face into a set of steps.
At the moment, it’s possible to select 2 edges of a face, click ‘sub-divide’ and indicate how many divisions to use. Blender will then subdivide that one face to a set of faces.
We’re looking for something similar however we need a script that will create a series of risers and runners out of those sub-divisions. The runner being exactly parallel to the ground plain and the risers at 90deg to the runner.
So basically, if our face is on a 22 degree angle, we would use this script to convert that face to say, 32 steps up that 22 degree angle.
