I’ve seen a couple tutorials where shape keys are being used. The artist then tweaks the shapes by using the sculpt tool.
The problem is, when I try it. The model keeps the sculpt even with the shape key on and off. Am I missing something? I’m creating the shape key as normal in edit mode. Switch to sculpt mode and tweak. The tweaks are always there…
Show us what you are doing ? Your description vague, lacking sufficient clarity
To sculpt shapekeys you need to have the shapekey value > zero
Are you using any modifiers
Sorry, don’t have an pics to show. Im just trying to get it to work before using it on my project. I’m using the multires modifier. Sorry if it was abit vague.
That’s because of the multires modifier. You should apply it/remove it before sculpting the shape keys (depending on whether you want a high poly model or a low poly model).
You don’t actually need a multires modifier or anything for sculpting, you can do it whenever you want. Which is very useful when modeling/doing shape keys and so on.
Yeah seems so. Boy I feel abit daft. I guess when I tried it my models have always been very low poly. Adding the multires on it made it Sculpt friendly.
