Hallo i used your addon once but never work for me i can installed but never worked always crash .
I try again i download your script from your page and copy to script and addon blender 2.70 but when a want to install from file don’t work i posted a picture before you can see it.
extract the archive for the folder. put that folder to the script addon folder in blender directory, “do not install from file”, just type “sculpt” in the search bar, its there just check it.
Sorry don’t work either , maybe it’s wrong with the the Addon . I installed other addon and work fine .
Unfortunately, the picture doesn’t tell me any more than it tells you. The useful error message is probably in the console. Please paste that.
this is cool, any chance you could make this available in the sculpt “tools” tab?
just seems it would be nicer than keep switching between tabs.

The actually useful error messages are usually in the black box on the right, which is turned on by clicking the menu item shown on the left. Turn it on and then try installing/activating the addon. If there is an error, it will appear in the black box.

using a recent buildbot, the addon works without any problem.
Check if you have correctly installed the “sculpt_ui” (or whatever it is named) folder in
… \whateverblenderdirectory\2.70\scripts\addons
or
… \whateverblenderdirectory\2.70\scripts\addons_contrib\
by example i have it there :
And inside the “sculpt_ui” folder (or whatever it is named for you), make sure those files are inside :
“pycache” is a folder created by Blender, you don’t need to have it in there when you install the addon, it will be created after use anyways.
Actually I’d recommend putting it in
C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.70\scripts\addons
That way you don’t have to copy it each time you update Blender.
Also, just pointing Blender at the downloaded zip should work fine as long as the directories aren’t write protected or some such.

I feel tired and disappointed . even the new blendersculpt it’s horrible to work . Instead of going better work really ugly prefer work with the past sculpt options .
I don’t know what are doing the developers
