sculpting issues - stretched brush/faces

Hi everybody.

I have this issue in blender when im sculpting that i hope you can hlp me with. Im trying to model an alien head. Whenever I try sculpting the side of the head the brush get’s kind of stretched(on the front there’s no problem). Look at the image:

I’ve tried subdividing the faces on the side more than on the front but it doesn’t seem to work.

Hope someone out there has the answer so i can go on with my practice :slight_smile:


it may be because the faces on the sides are rectangular. you could try making them more square

HAve you scaled the model in object mode?

In object mode press ‘Ctrl + a’ to apply the scale, which should fix the problem
