I tried this tutorial and it was great. Only thing that is not working is that if the face has a moustache, it appears as a deep pit in the output. It would be nice to know how to make the moustache = pit issue go away. Thanks

This is a basic limitation of using single photo as heightmap/displacement map.
Some solutions include:
- Capture multiple photos at the same time and use photogrammetry to construct a 3D model
- “Paint” the greyscale image to displace the surface appropriately
- use the sculpting tools to modify the surface
