Seeking advice on resolving pinching issues

Hello,

I recently went through a tutorial on modeling an Anvil, following Blender Guru’s guidance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ViVKUiG8ks&list=PLjEaoINr3zgHJVJF3T3CFUAZ6z11jKg6a&index=5

However, I’ve run into an issue concerning pinching.

I’m interested in learning about the most prevalent method to address such pinching problems. Have any of you encountered this issue previously, and if so, what approach did you take to resolve it?

Best regards,

I’ve uploaded the Blender file and included screenshots showcasing the problem.

All I would do would be to first add Auto-Smooth…
Then I would take the last loop on the horn and add a Mean Crease of no more than .33
That will sharpen the junction of the horn and body, but not a sharp corner…
Then the sides since they are not all planer, but take these vertices and nudge them out on the Y axis just to later out that area a bit…the rest is fine IMHO, it is a cast chunk of iron anyway so a bit of unevenness looks more realistic that perfect flat sides…

These are the areas I changed…

and a view before you add the dents, scratches, and grunge ( or as far as you are taking it)
