is there any way to ONLY select the vertices on the mesh infront of you, and not accidently select the ones behind the vertices that you really want? When working with a complicated mesh, i find it really easy to select the vertices that i dont want along with the ones that i do
To my knowledge there isn’t such an easy way to do so (but perhaps there is one that I’m not aware of yet, you never know…:P)…
When I work with very complex Meshes I just hide the vertices that I do not want to work with, so I can make my life more easier and to make sure there isn’t any chance of selecting them accidentally…
I don’t know, maybe someone else can help you more…
C y’a…
Hide the back half of your object by selecting those verts and using the HKey.
ALT-HKey will unhide them.
And if you want the verts of faces go into face mode (F), select the face RMB or Shft-RMB and Tab into edit mode to see selected verts.
