Looks like a very ambitious project. Just a word of warning for massive networks like that… they quickly get out of hand and become a nightmare to maintain. Use node-groups to organize things.
When you prefix a node-group with a full-stop it won’t appear in the group list, so that is a good way to organize sub-networks.
(e.g. A group called “.some-group” won’t appear in the Add → Group menu)
Well, neither does regular curve-to-mesh…
The reason is that there is overlap.
Also, for even-thickness, scaling correction is done per curve-segment. You’ll need to also use strategies similar to this one to ensure straight corners.
Anyway, today is very bad… just taking a break from a whole morning of plumbing and about to do some DIY to fix a broken gate… I’ll see how I feel by tonight but chances are I’ll be very tired and may only look at this again tomorrow. Sorry in advance.
