hello guys

actually im working on an animation project and it needs some video editing and the problem is that the sequence editor is making many problems with me…first it is very slow. only have one gega ram and the sequencer caches everything in the ram…second i dont know how to slow down a video segment for example its not as familiar as premier and vegas and so…so guys do any one know an open source video editing software…nothing fancy just clean simple editing?

To change how much memory the sequencer uses go to
User Preferences>System & OpenGL>System: MeM Cache Limit #.

To slow down a video segment select it & Add>Effects>Speed Control (hit N-Key to view & change the strip properties).

There are lots of threads about over open source video editing software (use the search feature). :wink:
