Set scene as set

I remember reading somewhere in the forum that it was possible to make scene “A” visible in another scene "B"as a set without it being editable in that scene “B”. A search turned up nothing. Documentation Nada. Was I dreaming?

over on the left side of your render buttons window, there is one of those inconspicuous little arrow keys, that if you move your cursor over ( providide you have tool tips toggled on ) it will say ‘scene to link to as a set’. this is useful when doing scenes that are ‘heavy’ especially.
