shade different in game engine

Im not sure if u can fix this, but for some reason when i press play and start my game, some of my textures are slighlty darker. Its not the end of the world but it sorta bugs me, and im wondering if theres anything u can do to fix it.

Note: i have no lamps, not using gsl, just blenders multi texture option.

Light is calculated somewhat differently in the game engine as opposed to blender’s viewport rendering. It’s just how it is as far as I know.

You can enable shadeless in the material window or simply use “texture faces”.

Hopefully this picture will be able to show better. If u can look at the crate, ull notice its darker. Im not using any lamps or any gsl. I dont know why its darker. Maybe its not and im just crazy.
