"shaders not supported!"

I get that message to the DOS-window, when I start my game. Also, textures do not have any kind of light/shadow. Is this connected with the message? How do I fix this?

What is your graphics card like? It sounds like whatever it is it doesn’t support GLSL.

You must instal the newest drivers for your graphic card, support OpenGL 1.2 or higer.

When I choose Blender GLSL Materials from Game, I get:
GLSL not supported with this graphics card or driver.”

By standard I got Blender Multitexture Materials chosen. Why do I get the “shaders not supported!” even if GLSL Materials are not chosen? Can I have shaded textures without GLSL support? How can I get rid of the message without having GLSL support?

How can I get rid of the message without having GLSL support?

Why you wanna do that?
As long as the engine runs, it’s fine. Even if you enable GLSL materials, Multitexture will be set.
So in order to remove it, you need to… buy a new G-card.

I am not going to buy new G-card. I want to get rid of the message, since GLSL is not yet widely supported. I don’t want to use it. I want solutions that work well with the most computers. Isn’t there any other way to have shaded textures?
