Shading gets weird whenever i am trying to add more edge loops

whenever i am adding loopcuts my shading gets weird.I am trying to model a wacom intuos tablet in this section i am trying to model a shutdown button which is a very small detail so i need more geometry but whenever i add edge loops shading gets weird

this is the problem with less edge loops it looks smoother (i cant add more images as i am a new memeber)

Did you try to enable Auto Smooth in Normals settings?

no i didn’t i tried but it didnt really fixed

Try also add a WeightedNormal modifier

Try to add a “Smooth” modifier. It helped me. I tried to make a similiar model like yours

Seems to me like your model has corrupt retopology. You could re-create it, or try to make a new one by using different mesh object, for an example, the cylinder.

IDK if i this this correctly but you geometry seems to have different distances between the polys… Does yoy sideview show a “smooth” circular curve… if not than subdiv does not help… maybe use some smooth modifier ??
