Shadows and no ray-tracing lamps =(

I’m still working on the same “sink” scene and have been tweaking
the lighting (amongst many other things I did today). None of the lamps
use ray-tracing as the scene takes FOREVER to render then. But how do
I get shadows without using ray tracing on the lamps?Thankyou.

That would be some bug in Opera (this post is in Firefox).

If you want shadows without ray-tracing you got to use Spot lights. They are the only Blender lights that have Buffer shadows. Of course you can use them to produce Only shadows so that you do not disturb the light you already have in the scene. For info on Buffer shadows see:
