Ship Corridor

Always love putting my own spin on these sorts of projects. The details are so exciting to make, and I focused strongly on the compositing as well as texturing to bring life to this scene. There are certainly some things I’d like to improve on and I’d love to hear any comments or critiques to help improve future renders.

hi, i like the picture… great work… especially whe u’re really created many of the details as mesh … i’d would be to leazy and did it with an texture. …

the only thing is, that i really miss some kind of dynamic in the scene… i think fog or glowin lights, would made it more dynamic and powerfull…

Thank you, I do think that there are certainly things that should be textured over modeled when the detail is just too small and intricate to justify spending the polygons on it, but for this scene it did make a big difference to have those physical details.

As for the fog and or lighting effects I certainly agree and I will plan to use this scene in the future to work on those things.
Thank you again, I really appreciate the feedback!

I really do appreciate that. It is often a concern that I’ve misjudged my work and in reality it’s only really cool to myself. It’s always a relief to see that I’m not the only one!
