Here’s a demo that you can use for your projects. The setup will ensure that:
- the trail of the projectile will be visible
- the trail will never penetrate objects due to scaling
- the projectile is pulled by gravitational force (optional)
- the projectile will never fail to hit objects on its path
- the time and place of impact will be exact
- speed, range, damage, force and drop of the projectile are adjustable
Edit: I made some crucial mistakes with the gravitational force application, which are corrected now. Also I’ve added drag (due to friction). And in order to make this compatible with throwing bombs I had to implement the actual projectile (not only the trail). Blend in the making…
