Hey everyone! My name is Jack and I’m a filmmaker making my second animated feature film, called A’Taka.
We’re starting production on animation in a few weeks from now, and I’m looking for a 3D Generalist who can do a few things within the next month.
- Go through our (15) rigs and models and do a final polish/check and edit any weight paint & minor model/design issues.
- There are a few basic features I need added to all the rigs which might require a small amount of coding knowledge. (such as adding an IK switch driver to a bone that doesn’t currently have it, adding some constraints)
- Re-paint & UV Map eye textures for some of our characters.
Applicants should have a good understanding of character design to make sure the more design-based things can be done properly. Basically this position is about getting these characters to be movie-ready
I think a lot of this can be done pretty quickly-- ideally my budget for this would be about $400, but if ends up being a lot more work, it might be able to go a bit higher.
