The hotkey-reference-cards I found are saying no, but it seems that the I-key is only used for “Insert Key” - so Shift-I (or ALT-I, or CTRL-I) would be nice to inverse my selection. Any Chance?

Select Inverse can be accessed by hitting W in the 3D window.

Thanks for replying. But no - in objectmode I get boolean menu by hitting “w”, in editmode I get the specialmenu (subdivide, merge, hide, bevel etc.)
What I want is to deselect all selected and automatically select all before unselected objects in objectmode and vertices in editmode. The same thing that the menu entry SELECT -> INVERSE will do, by simply clickeng a hot key.

How about W-Select Swap, or W-9 (in Edit Mode).

Yeah, speeding up things. Cool - thanks!
