Shorts worth watching (preferably by small animators)

This is for shorts that are absolutely worth watching, preferably by small animators. I wanna see stuff that rises above the usual noise.

Please do not post stuff that is political, pronographic or excessively violent. Git your own thread for that garbage. No AI slop either.

These are to be videos that make you stop and sit when they are done just to process the awesomeness you just experienced.

So, as time goes on, whenever you come across something you found made you stop and wonder, post it here.

The first is actually a horror flick, so, a couple moments of the grotesque (PG), but it is absolutely a masterpiece of storytelling:

The other I have to start us off is a post-apocalyptic story in itself. No horror. Just a small animator managing a movie’s worth of story leaving you wanting more.

This is a live action short film, but it has so much animations in it that I think it will fit this topic. :smiley:

Hah! Yes! That’s the kind of stuff I wanna see.

(Not necessarily horrible dystopias, but amazing film making, I mean.)

Videos that are simply uplifting would be nice too.

Should be noted that Dynamo Dream was done in Blender, too.

I’m glad you like. Don’t Walk Home Alone After Dark’s channel has a couple other good stories plus a bunch of great shorts that are totally worth your time watching, but Devil’s Rock is definitely his standout masterpiece.

‘Alike’

It’s pretty amazing how much it manages to say without any dialogue, fancy scenes, textures, or complicated models. Just pure animation.
