Here’s my most recent and best work to date.

So many great pics. It’s actually kind of mind lifting to see so many great pics in one thread.
Well, I consider this one to be my best render, again old RPG, Ultima VI, inspired, well actually inspired in wrong term, as it is a 3D version from the games character creation screen. But anyway, here it is:
It’s not my best modeling job, but I like it, because it is one of the not so many complete scene renders.
My second favourite is my “Leisure suit Larry” scene, which turned out greatly IMO preserving the originals toony style:

A character for a cancelled project I was working on.
Well, this is my first (and only) finished project in blender, so it qualifies as my best.
The stuff I’ve done since this has been simple work related stuff like tradeshow display mockups and box shots, so this is my only completed “art for art’s sake” project.
most of my stuff is animation so I have few nice renders. Of the ones I have this is probably the most aesthetically pleasing to me.
This thread is like a walk down memory lane. I remember when most of these were first posted. And I think it is great to see them all in one place.

This is my best render so far. Although its actually still being made. The texture is a rough one because I wanted to see what it looked like. There are also problems with the foot shape and the spiders werent modeled properly…just thrown together in about 2 mins to get a shape.
Please dont laugh at my attempt…Im still very new to blender.

I don’t see nothing to laught at here, anyway one missed thing here is sheaking hand :). I saw it before as i remember, you did it with yafray too.
Send it to trip offices as your reference picture for marketing touristic catalogues .
Not so much best render, perhaps, as best modeling job. The model really only exists to render out a tesxture for the low-poly version of this model, but I still ike how it looks.
