Hi everyone!
I’m David, a self-taught 3D artist passionate about games and game art.
The SIG Sauer P228 is part of my entry in the Hum3D weapons contest where I had to present the weapon in a 3d environment. Everything that composes the final shot is modeled from scratch in Blender 2.79b, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag.
The bulk of time was allocated to the P228 and the game-ready aspect. I managed to learn a lot from this project and it is my personal best when it comes to the quality of the model, textures and presentation.
I hope you like it !

It’s rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. I will update the post right now, thank you for the question
Ok thanks. Shame on me, I didn’t know about this render engine
By the way, on the website, it’s written : “Platform-independent (Mac & PC)” well, guess what, I’m running under Linux xD That’s not what I call “Platform-independent” lol

haha, the closest thing to touching it is viewing it in the Marmoset Viewer It’s really sweet to share models that way
Thanks Richard
