Nice. Origin to selected in Edit mode…now it goes to Object mode and stays there, put it back to edit mode after setting origin. Or option to stay in edit mode.

Reworked the operator only version.
Also had a try to integrate it as a panel.

I have been trying to paste code into my texteditor for months and it does not work. Could someone take pink vertex’s code and try them and see if they will paste? Paste is blanked out on my machine. There may be a problem with my computer.Thanks, Brent

I figured it out. I had to hit the new button at the bottom of the page to paste the script. I then saved it as a py file to my desktop. Why do the above 2 scripts by pink vertex not load? Should they load in 2.69.10? “Source file is in the addon search path” is the error I get.

There is a copy button in the top right corner which copies the script to the clipboard.

Changed the addon name of the panel version, increased the version number of the operator version and also fixed a bug in it.

Now you should be able to install both files as an addon. I also tested it and it works.

Works also in new build. Its easier to see whole thing when they are in the same Constraints panel.

Changed it. Also added a few lines so “FollowCurve”, “CurveRadius”, “ForwardAxis”, “UpAxis” and “Influence” can be updated.

Maybe you could explain HOW to use this and what it does instead of just posting screenshots.

There will be at least one else tool, called 3D_MATCH, that will be the most powerful 3D alignation tool in Blender.
It is already written and works.
