As it’s Christmas, I wanted to make something festive or at least slightly winter orientated. I started off wanting to make an animation with a carousel and lots of those kind of bright, multi-coloured Christmas style lights. However, I thought it would be more interesting to have a scene overgrown and dilapidated with the focal being a carousel that was in perfect condition. Which probably fits in with some sort of metaphor, whatever your interpretation is.
