Simulating Thick and Detailed Cloth Easily!

I recently finished up a freelance project where I had to do a cloth simulation on a rather thick piece of geometry that wouldn’t easily simulate with ‘standard’ methods. To overcome this challenge, I discovered a little trick that makes simulating high resolution meshes just as easy as simulating very low-detail, single walled cloth.
