Sketch Up to Blender

Hello there!

I was wondering, if anyone has any usefull tips and tricks while exporting data from SketchUp and postprocessing in Blender.

Workflow like:

  1. Modeling and basic textures in SketchUP

  2. Export (options that work, like dae, obj etc…) Ideally same scale, no triangles, no joining, no splits… Maybe Addon?

  3. That is it, I will do just fine in Blender ))

The goal is to have a workflow, that is simple and doesnt cost extra time by more editing and model work in Blender.

Ideally I only trexture and render in Blender after I model in SketchUp…
