Skin Modifier - cannot scale vertices.

Hello Blender community,
I’ve been testing the skin modifier as an alternative to Zbrush’s dreadful zspheres.

I’ve quickly run into a problems while following tutorials, ctrl-a does not scale the vertices.
Searching the shortcuts with the keyword “skin” shows no shortcut I could remap.

I’m in Blender 2.73

Anyone knows how I can fix this? If I’m told the string to enter in the keyboard shortcut window, I’ll make the shortcut by hand.

Thanks, and happy holidays!

Edit: my usual hotkey for scaling, as well as S, do nothing either.

The default shortcut is Ctrl+A (checked as working correctly in 2.76)
See manual entry for skin modifier http://www.blender.org/manual/modeling/modifiers/generate/skin.html#examples

Ensure you have not changed the shortcut or use a custom key config

Use the latest version or fix your own shortcuts

Edit: my usual hotkey for scaling, as well as S, do nothing either.
It won’t because it’s not the same thing as scaling, otherwise it would have had the same scale shortcut as default

User Prefs - Input has a handy search function. For 2.72 i had keys are as advertised

There is no such shortcut, as I’ve explained.
To make them equal, I’ve found that the function I must enter in the hotkeys is:
object.skin_radii_equalize
Now, anyone knows what I must write to get the scale function?

If anyone can just open that shortcut so I could get the code, please please please???

Odd that you can’t find the shortcut by searching for skin in the Input panel, as in both 2.73a and 2.76 , the shortcut can be found by searching for

skin resize

along the method Eppo mentionned

Thank you, that’s exactly what I needed. It works now!
