Škoda T-25

Škoda T-25 was a Czechoslovakian WW2 medium tank. It was developed by Škoda during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia. Work on the project began in 1942, with the aim of creating a vehicle powerful enough to effectively combat Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks.

Škoda T-25 was to be equipped with 75 mm A18 gun, 7.92 mm coaxial machine gun, and a 12-cylinder engine, giving it a maximum speed of 60 km/h. The frontal armor was to reach a maximum thickness of 60 mm. Despite its good characteristics, the project was rejected by Germans in favor of the indigenous Panther tank. No prototypes were ever constructed.

This was by far the most complex model I have ever worked on. It took a long time, especially because I wanted to learn and utilize the UDIM workflow, as well as the Substance Painter software. I have to say I’m quite proud of the result, the knowledge I have obtained will really come in handy in my future projects.

217 540 polygons
5 texture sets (three 4k, one 2k, one 1k)

That’s a very detailed and convincing model. Any time you can call a modelling project a useful learning process that’s a good project.
