Hello All,
Here is something I’ve been working on this week for my entry in the Deviantart Megadeath Challenge. I still need to fix a few things on the skull (add metalplates to the eyes, and a few chrome percings), I will then start on the UV mapping and scene construction. I’ll post more as I get it done.

OK got another little update. Added the ear harness and started adding peircings. Building other pieces of the scene now…

First of all, great skull -but I think you need to make the cheek bones more angular, and the brow needs to come forward a bit so you get a ridge leading to the forehead, but apart from that it’s brilliant
Sweet!!! I’ve not seen a Vic Rattlehead pic in ages, Megadeth stopped using him ages ago, they should bring him back. He looked cool before, usually quite nice paintings, but defiantly could see a cool 3D Vic model all animated and stuff, would be awesome.

COOL, i just checked out the contest and was stoked to seet that they ARE bringing him back, and Dave is judgeing the contest, thats wicked!!! Wish i had known about the contest sooner as im a big Megadeth fan!!!

Thanks!! Good to know there are some Megadeath fans out there. Yeah, I was totally stoked when I heard about the contest, thought it would be cool to update Vic in a 3D style. I agree, It’s really cool they are bringing him back as their mascot.
Hopefully I’ll get the scene done by deadline.

Yeah, they are one of my fav bands, tho ive not really listned to much music over the last few years. Infact most of the contact i have with music is when im playing my guitar, and i do know quite a few Megadeth songs, so i would LOVE to win this contest.
I suppose there is still like 2 weeks to enter, 12 days to come up with a brilliant idea and 2 days to crank it out as fast as i can with no sleep fueled only on caffeen and the need to own one of those signature series dave mustain guitars!!!

There is plenty of time to enter still. Heck, I just found out about it 2 days ago. Started modelling yesterday. So you should totally enter…did you see those guitars!!! Any of them would be amazing to have.
I figured , worst case scenario I’ll have a cool addition to my portfolio.
The scene I am doing, will have Vic in a test tube like apparatus, with tubes and wires feeding into him. I’ll post some more later today.
Maybe you could do something like President Vic or some sort of soldier scene…or just something MEGADEATH!

Here is a little update. Worked on the brow and cheek areas and added some spikes to the ear rig.
Oh now that’s much better! Very good!
