Hello, I’m using Blender 2.91 on a 2020 iMac running Catalina 10.15.7 and I have the same issue with Blender 2.83.9 2015 iMac running Sierra 10.12.6.
The thing is every time i try to access my own desktop (e.g. trying to add images as planes, and the image is placed in my desktop), the computer freezes out and takes a aproximately minute to think about it. When it finishes I have a render-like notification saying
*'Blender progress notification *
Calculation is finished’
I have been using Blender for a while, always on Mac and never experienced nothing like this, now I try to avoid using the desktop for anything to don’t interrupt my workflow.
Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks in advance
