Slow Parenting in BGE?

Hey. I’m currently using Blender 2.49, and I’m having trouble using Slow Parenting. I believe that you could use it to get effects like cloth on a mesh, but I don’t see how to do it. I searched the forums, but couldn’t find an answer. Help, please.

Regards, J

Slow parent is there:
<F7> object - Anim Setting Panel

  • enable [SlowPar]
  • set a TimeOffset:

I tried to enable it, along with the time offset, but it didn’t parent anything slowly, but just did an immediate parenting. I was originally thinking of having scarf bones in an armature be slow parented to the rest of the armature, but it doesn’t seem to work except between objects (not between bones). How exactly would I perform this (is slow parenting the right way to go?)

Surely not. Bones are not parented that way.
The only thing you could do is to slow parent objects to a bone. (I never tried that)
