Small weekend project, i was wondered about layered materials.
The table and pencil wood is cycles procedural wood and the table has a vernish layer(object) on top of it.
This vernish layer of glass material causes a smooth fade, instead of sharp distance glossy material.
Note also no fresnel used here.
