Hello all, I am making a tile for a video game and am having trouble getting a seamless transition from 1 material to the next.
My typical process for making a texture seamless is to duplicate the object, place them side by side, and then smear over the seam in the texture pain tool like so:
The base of these tiles, however, use a different material:
And when I attempt to smear, they receive color from the wrong location and texture due to both being different.
What would you recommend for removing this seam? I should mention that this is destined for FBX export and therefore cannot use any solutions that use blender’s material nodes.
