Smoke morph into mesh

I’m trying to make an effect in blender but i have some difficulty to do that.

The goal is to morph a smoke (or somethink like that) to a mesh, a text in my case.

Someone know a way to do that ?

The only way I could think of would be to have a volumetric object turn from a blob into text using morph targets

And as it turns into text, the volumetric object fades out and a solid object fades in

Thanks a lot, that’s exactly i looking for !!

I’ve been using meshes to create flame effects. The flames are based on procedurals and displacement, so with keyframing they could pretty easily sprout fire from the text. If that helps. Depends on what effect you want.

Thanks Atom for the link as well, hadn’t seen that one yet.
