Smooth Volumetric Light in EEVEE

Is there a way to create smooth volumetric light in EEVEE? All the lights have a bright spot in the middle which is weird for something like the Area Light where it’s supposed to be evenly diffused.

Light clamping under volumetrics. 0 is disabled. Over 0 is super diffuse and higher you go the sharped the area becomes.
