"Snap to grid" feature lost

I have some files where “Snap to grid” feature in not working… It normally works with CTRL button pressed down but not in some of my files while it is “ON” in the default file… It is a way to interpret the numeric values at buttons as explained in Blender User Manual here --> See section “Numeric buttons”

How can I switch it “on” in my affected files? Pls help :eek:

Snap to grid doesn’t have to be turned on, though snap to mesh does.

Yeah, the magnet is switched ON and OFF by SHIFT+TAB… That’s it!!!
